The International Reporting Project (formerly the Pew International Journalism Program) was designed to give US journalists the opportunity to explore in-depth a wide range of international issues, and the tools to continue reporting on these issues. Its wide ranging programs included global fact-finding trips for senior media leaders, a range of programs for mid-career journalists, and conferences, workshops, and professional retreats on cutting-edge topics
